A Dad passionate about the growth of youth through the game of Baseball. More than developing just athletes I find great joy in helping our athletes simplify aspects of baseball into incremental, measurable and achievable goals. Throughout this process we stress embracing failure as a measure of effort in reaching our goals and developing resilience. All valuable skills that will serve the boys throughout their whole life. I am currently the 13U coach. I also assist with the 9U team. Lastly, I am the current President of the DirtDogz board.

The 2026 season will be my fourth year as an assistant coach with the DirtDogz. As a former collegiate athlete, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue participating in the competitive arena from a different perspective. As a father of three, I find it immensely rewarding to see our young players develop and discover how much they are capable of accomplishing. Let's Go Dogz!

Dalton
13U Coach
I’m just a dad that loves to help young players develop skills on and off the field. I like to stress the importance of good sportsmanship and giving their all, not only at the games, but at practice also. The more consistent they are and willing to try, the better they will be. I’m looking forward to seeing the progress from each and every kid in our program.

Cody
Martin
13U Coach / Vice-President
I became a coach to help develop young athletes through the game of baseball and community service. My intent is to focus on building our next generation of motivated young adults to be kind and give back to their community. My wife and I instill the hard-working mentality into Corbin, our 13u baseball player, through working on our farm, Bob’s Blueberries, as well as staying active in baseball, track, swimming and any other sport that comes our way. Even though I did not play competitively into high school, I was very active in baseball, football, and BMX up to the 9th grade.

11U Head Coach
I’m a proud baseball Dad with two boys, one in 11U and the other in 9U, and a daughter just starting out in tee ball . I’m also coaching my son’s 10u team, which is extremely rewarding. I love being involved in their sports journey, whether it’s coaching, cheering from the sidelines, or helping them with their skills. I’m all about fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and making sure they have fun while learning the game. It’s a busy but rewarding ride, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Franzonello
11U Coach
Baseball has always been a staple sport in my life, and I originally got my sons involved because I wanted them to have the same great experience. Over the years, I’ve come to truly appreciate the discipline, work ethic, and integrity that volunteer coaches have instilled in my boys.
Now, as an assistant coach for the 11U DirtDogz, I’m excited to help these young athletes realize their potential, grow their skills, and develop a love for the game. And along the way, I know I’ll continue learning just as much as they do!
